Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026

This policy explains what data Diario Trader collects, what we use it for and what rights you have. The short version: your trading data is yours, we use it only to provide the service, and we never sell it.

1. Data we collect

Account data: your email address, your password (stored encrypted; we can never see it) and your preferred language, plus the date and version of these Terms you accepted.

Your Content: trades, accounts, journal notes, screenshots, playbooks, prop firm rules, mindset coach check-ins (for example, how you slept or your stress level) and data we receive from your integrations (TradingView, NinjaTrader) when you turn them on.

Technical data: basic information needed to run and secure the site, such as server logs and your sign-in session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

2. What we use it for

To provide the service (saving your journal, calculating statistics, syncing your trades), keep it secure, send necessary emails (account confirmation, password reset, important notices) and improve the product. We do not use your trading data for advertising.

3. We don't sell your data

We do not sell or rent your personal data or Your Content. We share it only with providers that help us run the service, under confidentiality obligations: Supabase (database, authentication and screenshot storage) and Vercel (website hosting). We may also disclose it if required by law.

4. Where it's stored and how it's protected

Your data is stored on our providers' servers, which may be outside your country (for example, in the United States). We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access rules so only you can see your journal, and private storage for your screenshots. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

5. Demo mode

If you use the demo without an account, your data is stored only in your browser (local storage) and is not sent to our servers, unless you turn on an integration.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct and download your data (full backup from the Import section), ask us to delete it, or object to certain uses. If you live in Mexico, this includes your ARCO rights under the personal data protection law; if you live in California or elsewhere, the rights your local law gives you.

To exercise any of these rights or ask us to delete your account, contact us through the official channels listed on this site. We will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Retention

We keep your data while you have an account. If you ask us to delete it, we will remove your account and Your Content from our active systems; some backups may take additional time to be erased.

8. Children

Diario Trader is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we will notify you in the app before they take effect.
